This Montessori Coin Box is an amazing toy to learn object permanence, shape matching, and developing fine motor skills.
Unlike a ball, to fit the coins in the slot they will need to align with the opening and use wrist control to rotate the discs to the correct position.
What I personally love about this toy is observing them playing with it, those tiny fingers holding on to the drawer’s handle, opening and closing it, so curious about what’s inside. It is so cute!
HOW TO PLAY:
There is no right or wrong way to play with this toy!
1. Your kid may put the coin inside the slot with the drawer closed, as we would,
2. Or they may also try with the drawer halfway open, and the coins end up behind the drawer, not inside
They'll love to figure out what happened, where did the coin go?
3. They may also enjoy just opening and closing the drawer repeatedly
4. Or pulling the drawer out and just dropping the coins in and out of it
